It is also noteworthy that the exhibition attracts a large number of executives, managers, and technicians from offshore companies established in Tunisia, which are a key source of Tunisian textile exports. Additionally, textile students and their professors also visit the exhibition.
Over 6,000 professional visitors from Tunisia, the Maghreb, and Africa are expected to attend to meet the exhibitors at SIET 2024.
Exhibition Overview:
The exhibition provides an ideal information platform for textile manufacturers seeking new, more efficient equipment to improve productivity and competitiveness.
The textile and apparel sector accounts for 23% of Tunisia’s manufacturing exports and remains a strategic sector for the country. To maintain this position, the Tunis International Fair Society is organizing the 9th edition of the “SIET” exhibition from October 1st to 4th, 2024 at the Kram Exhibition Center. This edition will feature the inclusion of Sourcing, offering a wide range of products that meet the needs of over 1,900 textile and apparel companies in Tunisia.

SIET targets a professional audience from the textile and apparel sector, including all its components, service providers, as well as those involved in vocational training and employment in the industry.
Analysis of visitor profiles from the previous SIET edition shows that 85% of the visitors are decision-makers, distributed as follows:
- 35% are company leaders: CEOs, General Managers, and Managers
- 38% are technical and production directors, and department heads
- 7% are professionals and consultants
- 5% are project promoters in the textile sector

Due to its strategic position and the importance of the textile and apparel sector in the Maghreb, a significant number of visitors, primarily from Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, and Morocco, attend SIET, especially since it is currently the only Maghreb exhibition of its kind.
A major promotional campaign will be conducted targeting European decision-makers in the textile and apparel industry (France, Italy, Belgium, and Spain) to facilitate business contacts between them and exhibitors of textile and apparel equipment and accessories. This will enable European companies to find the necessary suppliers for their production and future investments in Tunisia.
